My freind has a chip moded xbox he only has the original xbox dashboard. I have auto installer 3.10 on cd when i load it on his box a screen menu comes up to install dash boards can i install the dish board off this auto install cd or will i wreck his chip moded xbox. Also if i can do this can how would i select which dashboard to use or can i only use one. If i cant do this can i install the softmod instead on it even thou he already has a chip on it
the chip is just fine and most auto installer discs can install a whole bunch of things I prefer Slayer 2.7 which installs EvoX as the main dash and then puts on UnleashX and Avalaunch dashboards that you can run from the apps folder when needed when it installs all the apps. You can have as many on there as you like, but only one will be the main dash you load to, plus the original MS Dash of course.
