Hi guys, i'm wanting to buy a new laptop in the next few days. i pretty much stick to HP. There are two i'm particularly interested in, however one has an AMD Turion Processor 64x2 Mobile Tech TL-60 and the other has the Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 Processor. Both laptops do pretty much the same as each other, except for different size screens they're pretty identical. (I think!!) The laptop is to to be used for web site design and development using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 on a new college course, no gaming etc, just purely and simply for the web stuff and using microsoft office, using i-tunes and obviously internet usage. I'm not quite sure if there will be any significant difference between the two laptops because of the processors, any advice would be greatly appreciated kind regards mike
sam - thank you very much for your reply. much apreciated! i have one final question on the processors... again, there may not be much in it, but it may help me choose one of three laptops i have in mind, is there any significant difference between: Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 or Intel Core 2 Duo T5750? I only know one is .1 of a ghz faster than the other. Apart from that i'm clueless!! thank you to anyone taking the time to reply kind regards mike
Processor NumberΔ Cache Clock Speed Front Side Bus 45 nm T8100 3MB L2 2.10 GHz 800 MHz 65 nm T5750 2MB L2 2 GHz 667 MHz http://support.intel.com/products/processor/core2duo/specifications.htm
thanks for that ddp. i take it that the laptop with the T8100 wins. thank you. i'm totally clueless with the technical stuff!
