Hey, i have windows XP and am on the lookout for a free desktop calendar application (with integrated alarm and other features perhaps?). Preferably it'd just "stick" to my current desktop in a transparent fashion, until i hover over it, but would still let me see notes (or things to do) in each of the "date" boxes. I hope im not talking gibberish, but if anyone has any ideas where i can get such a free package, that doesnt require me to open another program to view the calendar, id appreciate it. Thanks
Hey rish, I thought you might be able to use this program after reading your request: http://www.gold-software.com/download7784.html Hope it helps!
thanks for the reply venom. i found that site while googling before posting, and even though i found a few similar products, nothing came as close to that, thanks. only problem is that i think you have to pay $24.95 for it, it gives an option for a free download but i *think* its just a trial?
lol, well didn't think there would be... ahem, time to insert some random words into google... oh before i do, is this transparent on the wallpaper on my desktop, or does it work in another window?? id prefer one integrated with my desktop wallpaper
Mozilla Sunbird is a great free calendar app but probably won't meet all your requirements. Here's the link anyway: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird.html
That's what I use...it is a great program!!! Inbeds itself to Firefox and is very easy. Sorry, when I get home, I will take a look on google, to see if I can find one for you. But, I think that is the only one.
Yup...no offense, and I was too, but I would drop the IE...but that is just my opinion. I don't really like it after using Firefox. Just read this: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/173015
