Interlaced???

    I have an avi file that i wanna comvert to dvd and the converter is asking me if it's interlaced. What does that mean and how do I find out?

    If the Frame Rate of the AVI is 29.976fps then it is Probably Interlaced but if the Frame rate is 23.976fps then it is Definately Progressive.....
