Internal Or external Hard Drive

    I thinking of buying a hard drive, what would be the best choice a external or an internal hard drive.

    internal is cheaper & external is mobile so up to you

    do you have firewire or usb 2.0?

    firewire 400 MBps
    usb 2.0 480 MBps
    usb 1.x 12 MBps

    I suggest, if you don't have a firewire port or a usb 2.0 port, you consider the time it will take to transfer large files over a usb 1.0 or a 1.1 port. firewire or usb 2.0 "pci cards" can be bought for $15-20 so it's not a big deal, just letting you know what I didn't
