LOL well I think your workplace does that for a good reason.Nevertheless if you can manage to tell us the protection your refering to we could better help you.Are you sure the adapter is enabled and the pc has an internet connection?

Our office uses such blocks as well (fortunately, I'm at a sattlelite office) but they block ebay, yahoo, ....in short, they block certain popular sites but not internet access.

even in our school, it blocks sites such as youtube and others.I know a solution, but I actually forgot what site that was. I think you have to go to this site and just type what site you want to go and even though your company blocks that site, it will allow you to still visit that site. I just forgot what the site is since I've last used it a year ago.

Sounds like your standard filter app that redirects you.You could get into the settings and add your sites to the execptions list of the filters. It may be located on the administrators pc only unfortunately. But maybe not!

Like I said it's hard to hack something you don't know about. That's the trick.

Myspace, Checking your Ebay account, etc., please visit our CGI version of The Box by clicking the link directly below. If you have any questions or comments, please contact thebox@boxofprox.com. Also, if you're a myspace user, add us at www.myspace.com/boxofprox and say hi!
