Are you able to provide a screen shot while using Lsp Fix regarding this? Curious, if your internet was down, how were you able to download the programs? If you're unable to update the programs, which ones were you not able to update? I could probably search for links and help you download the update(s)... Get rid of these under safe mode: R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://letgohome.com/sp.htm?id=31130123321003 R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://letgohome.com/sp.htm?id=31130123321003 R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{00D6A7E7-4A97-456f-848A-3B75BF7554D7} - (no file) O2 - BHO: iMeshBar BHO - {5345A7A1-805A-4923-B505-86B2FEBA3FE0} - C:\Program Files\iMeshBar\bar\1.bin\IMESHBAR.DLL O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {0494D0D9-F8E0-41ad-92A3-14154ECE70AC} - (no file) O3 - Toolbar: iMeshBar - {5345A7A9-805A-4923-B505-86B2FEBA3FE0} - C:\Program Files\iMeshBar\bar\1.bin\IMESHBAR.DLL O9 - Extra button: WeatherBug - {AF6CABAB-61F9-4f12-A198-B7D41EF1CB52} - C:\PROGRA~1\AWS\WEATHE~1\Weather.exe (file missing) (HKCU) After removing these under safe mode, reboot and do another scan... Your host file seems suspicious... In Microsoft Antispyware, there is an option to see what your host file consists of...if you could, provide a screen shot... Have you tried using Fire Fox and/or Avant?
Hello ! You said to delete the files at the bottom> You mean delete them when I run hijack this program or from somewhere else.... and if is from the hijack software i don't see those files there. I just look them in the last log that i sent you. Another thing when u say if I was able to do a screen shot when runing Lsp what u mean by that . Well, I downloaded the programs using my other computer and most of the program need to be update. Yes, i also downloaded Fire fox and I cannot connet either.
The items I that I copied and pasted from your log....it's not there anymore? That's what I'm hearing, unless I'm wrong, please correct me. Do you have an application that can "take" a pic on your desktop? If not, here's a free proggy that will help you just that. http://www.mirekw.com/winfreeware/mwsnap.html After you have taken a screen shot, upload the pic onto a free image uploader such as Photobucket: http://www.photobucket.com/ Here's a sample pic of what I did sometime ago. I took a screen shot of a program I was using at the time. I was using Nero Recode when I took this capture. Open up Lsp Fix and use MW Snap and take a screen shot. upload the pic and onto photobucket... Uninstall [bold]iMesh[/bold]!! It may have been the source of your broswer being hijacked. Did CoolWebShredder find anything?

Also,if you have problems uninstalling some stubborn programs (or ones installed without your consent) ["Tools"], try using Crap Cleaner and clean out your TEMP folders and other junk files. ("Run Cleaner") Run the registry cleaner by clicking on "Issues". Be sure to keep a back-up of the registry entries that you decide to remove. If not, you could run into more problems... http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner.html
New version of CoolWebShredder: http://www.scanwith.com/download/CWShredder.htm Version 2.16 is the newer one...
I deleted the files that u told me to do so and I still have no connection to the internet. Another thing when I go to network conncetion there is no IP address and when i go to the command prompt and I type ipconfig a message show up saying that an internal error occured and that the request is not recognized. Also, I cannot update the programs becuase I don't have connection.

Run the disk check utility on your main hard drive. To do this, open up My Computer, right-click on your main hard drive (one where Windows is installed on), click on the tab labeled: "Tools", under Error-checking: click on "Check Now...", then check-mark [bold]Automatically fix system errors[/bold] and [bold]Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors[/bold]. Then you may or may not need to reboot your comp. If a message prompts you to do so, go ahead and reboot. When your comp reboots, the error check utility will run 5 stages. Stage 4 and 5 are the longest. Also, if you have another hard drive, run the check disk utility on that one too to ensure you don't have bad sectors. Did the new version of CoolWebShredder find anything?
I cannot download the new version of Cwshedder becuase I don't have Internet connection. Do you think that the steps that u told me are going to fix my Internet connection. Why do you think that my IP address is not showing up?
I can't really guarantee it, but it could. Some spyware/adware/malware can really mess up your comp in many ways. For your problem, it could be a number of factors. (1) IE has been corrupted by spyware/malware/adware so much that it would take a long time to get it working again. (2) Your winsock (key Windows file/registry key) was infected by malware and was removed improperly and severed your internet connection. Or your winsock is badly damaged/deleted... (3) Hardware issue It could be neither of the above or even 2 or more of the above. This is kinda why I wanted to check your screen shot when using LSP Fix... Not too sure why it isn't showing up. My bet's on a corrupted registry or hardware issue. You can probably look up this info by contacting your manufacturer of your comp and/or checking out the Troubleshooting solutions to problems at Microsoft. http://www.support.microsoft.com/ Were you able to get rid of the trojan: [bold]E[/bold]xplorer.exe (not a typo, I'm just differentiating the difference of the real [bold]explorer.exe[/bold])? Please post a new Hijack this log to see if you were able/unable to get rid of certain files.
I cannot get rid of Explorer.exe becuae i cannot find that file. When I click on c drive then click on windows folder a lot icons appears and then I loook for the Explorer.exe but I don't that what are I see is two icons named Explorer one that has the same icon as my computer and the other has a open folder with a magnifer so, I don;t know which one is the folder. I ran the disk check utility wverthing was fine. hi dcr88 , been reading your thread , it may be that a rogue program has taken over your system . firstly disable your antivirus, temporarily because it may be that it wont let you access the net . if, and it shud do , it lets you connect go to bitdefender.com and use there online antivirus scanner and that will show you if there is any nasties on your machine . it will disinfect or delete anything that it picks up after you have run the scan re enable your antivirus and try to connect again , if this fails try start > run type notepad and press enter in the new window that opens go to file > open . in the file name box type C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and click open. the file shud look exactly like this : # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name. # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one # space. # # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol. # # For example: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host 127.0.0.1 localhost if it dosent look the same remove any extra lines as appropiate, you shud then update your antivirus and run a full system scan , which i recommend straight away , also you shud download Stinger from NAI.com. When you download the file, give it a different name that doesn't include the word stinger (because some viruses are programmed to automatically close Stinger to prevent them being detected). Run the program and let it scan your system. Stinger is a cut-down anti-virus program that is given away by NAI to detect & remove the most prolific viruses. Once you've done that, could you post a log from HiJack This as per Spyware, Adware, Hijackers and Other Annoyances. This should show if there is anything dodgy on your computer! let me know how you get on regards mark p.s do not run more than one adware and spyware program at the same time as they trip each other up and therefore do not work properly .
