I’m having trouble with my internet connection; every now and then it either becomes very slow or loses connection completely this happens frequently throughout the day. I am on virgin media and have a netgear router connected between the modem and the computer (running XP) via ethernet and there are also two wireless laptops (running Vista) connected to the router. This problem happens on all computers. When the problem happens I have tried pinging certain websites such as yahoo and apple the request times out. But pinging other websites e.g. Google(My Homepage)I get a reply I can also ping the router and modem addresses and get a reply instantly. I do not know what the problem is any help would be appreciated. Thankyou
