Hi - Sorry if this is in the wrong place 1st of all. I need to know what could be having an effect on why web pages do not load. My laptop shares the internet connection through my PC, The laptop is connected as I have checked the network connection/settings, I have done this PING test on the command prompt which came back ok - so basically the internet is connected but when I try to goto any site I get the green loading bar at the bottom which gets to about 4 bars then gives up and the page just stays blank.(no error messages) For some reason when I 1st open internet explorer the home page (google) opens fine and the links from that site work (images / maps etc) but when i try click on any favourites or type in addresses nothing happens. If I try to change the homepage to anything esle then it does not load. This has only been going on a for a week so I had no problems before this, I have done a virus scan and all other checks but that all seems ok. Thanks
