my computer was infected by the bloodhound.W32.EP VIRUS 32 files but I installed norton and it deleted them but I still can not open an internet explorer page, although the modem connction shows that it has connected to my isp. Can anyone help!!!!!!!! JT
i think i have the same problem.. i had varied viruses and now nothing will open. Any reply would be nice. But i was told to run avg antivirus and housecall.trendmicro.com - to check for viruses missed by norton. I ran trend micro so far but not avg yet. So nothing still opens at this point. I will post if it works later.
ok from my preivous knowledge on this i had the same probs but no virus doo virus scan usin avg or whatever u use then just reinstall explorer it should work fine
did the scan and it removed the virus but still the explorer won't start. I am about to give in and forget the whole scenerio and just use it as is.
one of my friends can not go on the internet at all, like only msn messenger she cant go on internet explorer and that means she cant get a virus scan ( she is stupid and doesnt have one) so what can she do? or what should she do, Buy internet explorer?
Y dont u guys just well u got rid of the virus just 1st download the setup file for internet explorer and then delete the current internet explorer and install the setup file of the one u downloaded cu wat happens
Explorer not starting is wonderfull news. TIME TO MOVE ON TO FIREFOX!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe sensible people are still using internet explorer!!!!
sounds like you might have to reformat ALL to get rid of it for good . if you do that make sure you download a GOOD virus scan norton NOT being one of them use trend mirco or AVG. Panda is good too.
