Recently I have noticed that while surfing a few pages seem to freeze when I try to go to them. I opened the task manager and noticed a process IEXPLORE.EXE Which seems to be linked to the problem. What I have to do is close this process down and wait for a bit and then the page will continue to load. I don't use 'IE' AT ALL. Has any one else come across this problem and know how to resolve it?

NO I am positive it is iexplore.exe NOT explorer.exe. I turned off the AOL pop up controlas and now I don't get it so I am going under the belief that it is that. MANT THANKS to all those who took time to help
