That looks like your DNS may not be set properly. But before we go there, clean your system up:

*Download CCleaner and run the Windows Cleaner, Apps Cleaner and Fix Issues. This program works wonders.
*Use Ad-Aware to clean up spyware that may have man-handled you internet settings

Just wondering what type of internet connection do you have?

Ya know this sounds like something that happened to me, try reinstalling your Internet Connection or if you have a firewall then turn it off and see if you can view the pages, b4 you do that do what uniique1 suggested.

This process will clean out your Temp files and your Temporary Internet Files. Please do both steps:

    Step 1:Delete Temp Files
To clean out your temp files, click on Start and then run, and type %temp% and press the ok button.

This should open up the temp directory that your machine uses. Please delete all files that are found there. If you get an error when deleting a file, skip that file and delete all the others. If you had trouble deleting a file, reboot into Safe Mode and follow this step again. You should now be able to delete all the files.

Step 2: Delete Temporary Internet Files
Now I want you to open up Internet Explorer, and click on the Tools menu and then Internet Options. At the General tab, which should be the first tab you are currently on, click on the Delete Files button and put a checkmark in Delete offline content. Then press the OK button. This may take quite a while, so do not be alarmed with how long it takes. When it is done, your Temporary Internet Files will now be deleted.

    THEN :-

    Do the following
    Disconnect from the Internet
With all other Windows closed, including this one
    Go to START>>RUN>>type in
    cmd
    Hit OK
    At the prompt type in
ipconfig /flushdns ((notice the space between g and /))

    Hit enter.

reboot and see how you go.

If you cannot reach a URL yet after doing this -- Your PC has been infected by a malware that will require removal . Post again.

    edited for typo.

You said you ran CCleaner but did you reinstall your internet connection.

You may also want to reinstall internet explorer and get any updates necessary.

i had a similiar problem, i had where i could not see images any longer and that error too. my fix was a reformat. i had backed up my hdd and tried new browsers, no fix. then a quick format with no results. turned out i had a virus that made my files bigger by 30kb each time it opened up. i had to reformat the entire hard drive to get rid of it, then just loaded from dvd to restore my proggies and apps.

are you sure you have an ISP connection? i am assuming you are logging on elsewhere to write in here? have you contacted your ISP just to rule that out? do you have dial up or broadband? could be a configuration problem in your network connections. try this, go to 'my computer', > 'network connections', > right click for properties on your connection, see if its active. thats what i can think of for now, other then contacting your ISP.

I have another computer at home and that one works perfect without problem.

I have broadband. So I don't think that the problem is related with my connection because my other computer works fine.

When I try to connect to the internet the page cannot be displayed show up with any web page that i try to go.

Also when I go to the command prompt and I type ipconfig /all I'm supposed to see my IP mac and all of that but my computer does not show that. It says that an interanl error occurred

What type of PC do you have?
What Operating System do you have?
What updates are installed on your O/S?
We're there any major or minor changes done to the PC prior between the last time it connected to the internet and now?
