i'm new in this line so maybe this is a common problem. I have searched the forum and did not find a similar problem nevertheless. When i am playing dvds either in windvd or powerdvd, the playback is scattered, as if the whole thing would freeze for a fraction of a second every half a second and then continue for another half a second. It's very very annoying and impossible to watch anything. The strange thing is that if i use windows media player it seems to be working ok, but the trouble is that every five minutes the screen freezes and the sound continues uninterrupted (i can hear what happens but the only thing i see is a frozen frame). MAybe these are two independent problems or they are different behaviours due to the same problem, dunno. But i could realy do with some help. thanks a lot, s
