I am trying out intervideo DVD Copy 3 Platinum and can't get it to complete a disc. It will run untill it reached 75% complete and will just stop. I have to reboot to unlock the drives. I tested it with DVD+RWs first and it copied great, however when I use DVD+R it stalls at 75%. I have tried several movies with the same results. I have a liteon burner set to DVD-ROM and using Ritek and Verbatum at 4X. Using movie only mode. Any one know of any conflicts with Shrink, Decryptor, AnyDVD or CloneDVD which I also have installed? Many of you say this is one of the best for quality by so far no go. Any suggestions are appreciated.

have you tried to just burn with Nero or any other burning software? Your problem may lie in the DVD Copy burning engine, this will help to isolate that.

I am unable to even rip the movie to the hard drive with this program. It will start OK and then just stop before the rip completes, usually before 50%. When I click on cancel nothing happens. I have to end the process to shut it down and then have to reboot to unlock the drives. I have had great luck with all other ripping and burning software. I always use Verbatim or Ritek media and burn at 4X max. ASPI shows OK. I have reinstalled with the same results. What should I look for now?? I appreciate the help.

actually I have read on Slysoft's site that there is a possibility of conflict with anydvd and intervideo's products, so that may be it. Try to disable anydvd, maybe use dvd43 instead, or just rip with DVD Decrypter first. The new DVDFab Decrypter supposedly works pretty good too.

Thanks all for the replies. I have finally resolved the issue. It was not a software conflict. It was a conflict with my combo Liteon CD burner-DVD Rom I was using to read the DVDs. I tried ripping and burning using my DVD burner instead and it works great. All other programs work with the combo drive. I may try updating the firmware for the drive and see if it fixes the conflict.

Updating the firmware did not resolve the conflict. I guess DVD Copy 3 just doesn't like my Liteon combo drive. I'll just have to rip with the burner instead when I use this program.

I've also had many problems w/ DVD Copy 3.
    Iam also using it w/AnyDVD.

I think what your supposed to do is use DVD Copy 3 to store it on your hard drive then use Nero to put it on disk.
