I have a WinDVR 3 intalled on my computer. I get great audio, but the video coming in from my coax TV cable input is snowy. I checked the input by putting it into my TV and it works great, but it doesn't seem to work on the computer.

When I do a cable scan I don't get channels 1-5. And the ones I do get are off by one channel (ie channel 8 comes in as channel 9).

    Any suggestions?

I toyed around with WinDVR3 and had the exact same problems that you're experiencing, and never did find any solution to that, wish I knew what to tell you about the channel thing, but you can manually add and edit channels. As far as the fuzzier picture, I've noticed that with any software I've used, I think it's just a resolution and signal strength issue, also the card you're using can have a lot of impact on what your picture will look like.
