There are sites that look up IP address here is one http://www.whatismyip.com/ anyway I trace mine and IT allways says I live in VA witch is wrong I just used Blue tacks IP Atlas and It got the state right but the city was wrong. So if they cant trace my IP correctly Well then I know other peoples wont be right also. What the heck, I dont understand I dont have a static IP I have dial-up till friday. Does haveing dial up have something to do ith it? hat Am I doing wrong
Yes it probably has something to due with dial up. From what I've read, most dial up services make the customer pay a surcharge if they want a static ip so that may be a part of your conflict. If I were you, just wait till Friday when you get your connection upgrade and then create a static ip.
