Hey Guys, I have tried searching forums but with no answers.... My Ipod Nano is connected to my PC via USB 2.2 .. The battery meter shows that it is CONNECTED ( it looks like a plug ), BUT windows/iTunes don't recognize it! I tried restarting PC, restarting Nano, uninstalling iTunes & tried plugging it in other ports.... Help??
Try putting it in disk mode by holding on to Menu + Center buttons until the Apple logo appears. Once the logo appears, switch to holding the Center + Play/Pause buttons on the iPod until it says "Ok to Disconnect". Then, plug it into your computer, and reformat through 'My Computer'. You will have to add all the music files and video files again, so keep a clean backup in iTunes or on your computer.
