my ipod has been working fine but when i put it into the computer yesterday, it didnt appear in itunes like it usually does so i couldnt put songs on it and also when i connect my ipod it doesnt do anything!!!!!!!!! help please
Put your iPod into disk mode. If you do not know how, then have a look through this guide.. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93651 Putting your iPod into disk mode forces it to mount on your computer. Once you have done that, you need to restore your iPod back to "factory state" using the iPod Updater software. but i dont want to restore it cos then il lose everything! and now its in disk mode i cant get out of it!! how to i get it out of disk mode without restoring it?
Simply resetting the iPod will take it out of disk mode, but it will leave you back @ square one.. If the data is in iTunes, it will be simple & straightforward to re-sync the content to your iPod. Your alternatives are pretty limited on this one..
