Well, I put Ipod Linux on to my ipod today. I have no idea what it does really, so I put it on expecting something cool. When I turned it on, the thing is exactly the same! What's the deal? Edit : I have a black 30 gig 5G video.
You probably set the regular iPod firmware to be default if it is [bold]exactly[/bold] the same. To load the Linux firmware hold down rewind while the Apple logo is on the screen. If your just saying it looks sort of the same, its because it does. But there are plenty of extra little things you can do with it. There will be a guide out shortly covering that sort of thing.
