hey wuddup, i was just wondering...WHY is the ipod battery so sh*ttttt? i bought a new one recently and i got rid of my old sony mp3(50 hours of life, 1 minute charges 1 hour). wtfff is the nano battery? i swear it lasts for about 10 hours...any suggestions? is there something wrong with my battery? do most batteries last up untill 20-30 hours or sumptin?
Quote from apple: Well the 14 hours is a guideline and is just about the [bold]maximum[/bold] you will ever get out of your iPod nano because it is based on continuous play at half volume, no backlight and isnt touched whilst playing. So you can just get the 14 houts it states but only if you follow these guidelines. Apple do this because it looks good in advertising. A potential buyer will be inpressed by the 20 hours playback (60GB Video)and will go and buy it and only get say 10 hours of continuous music because of the backlight, skiping through tracks, volume, etc. that everyone reguarly does.
