reboot it into disk mode (centre and play while the apple logo is showing), and plug it into your computer. If its seen as a removable drive you can:

    1) Run the linux installation program with the /r command(hope you chose to create a backup). It will undo the changes and you can try again. Or give up, your choice.

2)Or you may need to restore the apple firmware(hope your music is backed up). Again you can try again to load linux on it, but follow the instructions exactly as said, dont skip any steps.

    *Cough, told you so, lol*

    Only joking.

When I had a little trouble with the ipod linux, I just slipped it into disk mode (which forces it to mount on your pc) then I just manually erased the full contents of the iPod. then I restored it and it has been fine ever since. You shouldn't have a problem doing the same, but if you get stuck, by all means post back, and I'll go into more detail with you when I get the moment ;-)

When in disk mode, if its recongnized as an ipod you can use the ipod updater to restore it.
If not you can do a quick format (right click on removable drive) use fat32 and make sure its quick format. Then its going to be recognized with ipod updater.
