i have a 30gb video ipod when i connect the usb cable to my ipod the charging display with the lightning comes out but in black i left it there for an hour hoping it was the battery that was low but it still stays the same.
Try restoring the iPod back to factory settings by plugging in your iPod and clicking 'Restore' in iTunes. This should fix the problem, but you will have to resync all your songs back onto your iPod.
I figured my battery got messed up when i plugged it into one of my friends usb ports. When i grabbed it to disconnect the wire, the ipod was very hot. Since then thats the only display i get when i plug it in. I cant even reset it. I was just hoping it wasnt the battery, but it was. THANXS ANYWAY
