i have a 30 gig video ipod and i think it got a little condensation inside it.
Anyways the ipod is just frozen on the apple logo with the black scrren. Everytime i try to reset it it just goes back to that scren. But i time back when it first started to happen the ipod started up and i was playing music on it but then it went back to this state and has been the same. I tried everything: resetting it multiple time, draining the battery charging it, and using different usb ports on my computer. Is there any way to fix this my self. Please help.

that doesnt work because itunes wont read my ipod and it wont leave the screen with the apple logo and the black background.

Try forcing it into disk mode by holding down the center button and play while the Apple logo is on the screen, if that works you'll be able to restore your iPod.

It may not always allow you to restore using the Apple Updater, however, if you manage to get it into disk mode, it will allow you to 'format' your iPod's drive in [bold]My Computer[/bold], which will wipe away the contents, and allow you to load the iPod firmware on once more.
