i dunno im thinking of gettin an ipod shuffle but in the manual it syays it can be charges certain amout of times before the battery is full flatt the cant be charged again
Yes, all iPod batteries have a certain time limit. Two of my previous iPods have had batteries lasting no longer than about 12-14 months - although I dont know how much relevence that bares to the shuffle's battery life. If battery is your main concern, I would advise against getting an iPod of any sort. You should get an mp3 player for which you can easily change the battery over.
I do remeber what you are talking about when my bro brought a ipod shuffle to work out with. It is like 50,000 charges or something(the point is plenty of charges, he said it will more likely break before the battery runs flat). And i asked my freind how long the battery lasted and he said 24 hours. (which makes sense because there is no screen)
50000 charges seems a little far-fetched, serpiroth. It's actually nearer 500 charge cycles. Have a look at this great article all about the iPod batteries. http://forums.ipodlounge.com/showthread.php?threadid=19556
It is indeed..have a look at the link I posted.. These batteries last nowhere near 5000 charge cycles..
