Ipod Shuffle Question

I've gotten one of those lil clipy 1GB Ipod shuffles for my birthday, i want to know how long the damn thing will hold a charge?

 

up to 12 continuous hours of play

 

my brothers Nano only lasts about 4hours and then it's pooped.

i used my shuffle at work last nite and still have a green lite so it say's it's a good charge....

are there any cool accessories for this thing? like car charger w/ outputs or anything? or is that too much dreaming?

 

doubt it... maybe some skins though :-/
