I'm considering buying an Ipod for the downloadable video that's available for them. I haven't followed the whole Ipod thing, since I don't listen to music very much. I'd like to be able to download the video's and burn them to a CD or DVD and play them in my standalone DIVX DVD player. Can this be done? Hopefully some of you guys that use the Ipod regularily will know the real answers. Everything I find is about converting DVD to Ipod files. I can't find much about going the other way. Thanks DH
I don't think you need an Ipod to download from itunes. And most itunes files are pritected i think. Lethal_B will probaly know.
Yes, you can easily convert them to DVD's / VCD's (But not if they are downloaded from the iTunes music store, mind, as they are crippled with DRM technology which is very restricting). If you aren't planning on using the iTunes music store, I believe you are better off sifting through the wealth of info in the DVD forums for that one. Please note that at a maximum capability of 320x240 pixels for iPod .mp4, it won't show a great quality picture on a decent sized television.. If you are planning on purchasing from the music store, then you are better off buying an AV cable and connecting it up to your TV that way..
