When I use my iPod Video, (30GB),to play videos, the battery goes down hella fast. On apple, they say you have about 3.5 hours of battery life with vids if its fully charged, but it only has about 1.5, sometimes less.I would leave it in over night, and take it in the morning, its annoying how I have to keep plugging it into the computer and taking it out. Does anyone know what kind of a problem this is? if so, how can It be helped? any advise would help, thanks.
The more and more you use your iPod, the less the battery lasts, I think it's something about crystalization in the battery, eventually it has to be replaced. This may be your problem, you can have apple replace your battery for a fee, or do it yourself.
Ohh, I misread that. I am getting and iPod Video for Christmas. How long of a warranty do they come with. I knew you can buy an extended one too, How long is that?
umm... it comes with a 2 year, you can extend it to...however much you want depending on how much you want to spend on the warranty. the battery will probably go out in about 1 and a half years, so...its helpful. I wouldnt buy the extended until your 2 years goes out.
So you're saying if the battery goes out in 1 and a half years and the warranty is 2 than the extended warranty isnt worth buying.
