Ipod Video Audio Formats

    I am wondering what audio formats i can use on my ipod. i know i can use mp3 and aac, what about mp4?

    to more update my thread, i have an auido converter and it converts all kids of audio and video, and it has one for mpeg-4 audio mpeg-4 movie and mpeg video and then aac. the mpeg-4 audio and aac which is better, or should i say which will work?

    I'm sure the iPod Video can only play videos in the MP4 format. Other formats such as MPG and AVI will have to be converted to MP4 by Videora.

    Here's a clarification of supported video formats. If there's any don't understand, post back :)

    [bold]H.264 video[/bold]: up to 768 Kbps, 320x240, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats.

    [bold]MPEG-4 video[/bold]: up to 2.5 mbps, 480x480, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats

    i know the specs for video files, but what about music formats, there is mp3 and aac. is there any others that the ipod support? thanks for all the help guy's or girls

    AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Music Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3 and 4), Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF

    ok, thats what i wanted to know. thank you. now then, do you know of any good, free converts to convert mp3 to aac files or wav to aac, ect...
