Hey guys, Newbie here. I put a video file on my Ipod Video. I played it, everything fine. I switched it off and my friend's may have played with the settings, which they deny outrightly, but somehow my Ipod does not show no more video, even though one could hear the audio from the video with no probs. Any clue. Anyone.
on your ipod go into settings-->main menu. then, scroll down to videos and press "on" (centre button). problem solve. ;-)
If that doesn't solve the problem, it may be, once again, more firmware issues. Let us know how you get on
It is not the Videos link is not showing. The video itself does not play, but I cud hear the audio from the video.
- Make sure you don't have 'TV Out activated'. Otherwise - restore your iPod.. that will definetely solve your issues as it will return your iPod into the same state as when you first bought it (factory state).
I will try restoring and see. That means re-work on playlists and videos. Thats ok. Atleast I will get 2 work..Hehhe Thnx guys, been a great help.
Ok I figured out the issue. I restored the Ipod to factory settings. And I downloaded the video from iTunes. Voila it works. Then I deleted the file and loaded it through Ephpod. Issue comes back. Then I figured that Ephpod is the culprit and is loading the file as a audio and not as video. Anyways wanted to give a heads up, incase anyone runs into similar issue.
