Ipod Video Compression

    Is there any way to compress a movie? Like from a dvd, and an mpg4?

    Like i have music videos that i want compressed and i have Star Wars that i want compressed. Is there any way to do that?

    Do you mean that you'd like to convert (compress) DVD and music videos to iPod formats (320x240, mp4) playable on iPod and your computer?

    is there any freeware? I jst cant buy any program at the time.

    I use Videora iPod converter [its free, look in the sticky at the top of the forum about converting videos] you can change the settings to a pretty minimal setting and there isn't much of a noticeable difference. In Star Wars some of the explosions don't look that great but it saves tons of memory.
