Hi guys, Two quick questions. The first is how do I transfer video/music files BACK onto a computer once it's on my Ipod? The second question is: My brother also has an Video Ipod so how do I use ITunes on the SAME computer without HIS Playlist saving to MY Ipod? Any time I try it wipes out my Ipod files and loads his files.
Please read the FAQ at the top of the forum before posting. 1. Here's a guide dedicated to this subject by Lethal_B: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/250743 2. From Lethal_B's FAQ: QU 30 - "How Do I run multiple iPods on the same iTunes" This one has been asked many a time, so here goes. To be able to do this, all you have to do is set iTunes to update each iPod with only certain playlists. They you can put the one iPod's music in one, one in another, and so on.. Once you have created a playlist and filled it with music you wish to add to a particular iPod, then in iPod Options, set your iPod to only update that particular playlist.. Or, you can create two separate user accounts in windows. Good Luck Mate!
The manual method, which is the last method I explain in my iPod ==> PC tutorial, is probably the best method to use. It is especially handy if you intend to transfer video files as well as music..
