so whats the best way to stay Apple free ? i don't want to use itunes cos i'm using mediamonkey and it might try to take over.
The latest version of Media Monkey will work with your ipod. I don't know how well as I've never tried it. But it does work.
when you install itunes it gives yout he option of using it as your default player, just click No. I have never used any btu itunes for my ipdo, but i use windows media and some other for general music. Itunes is a pain in the neck but I dont knwo of any other way to load your ipod.
yep - i already use mediamonkey for music on the ipod - its perfect but it won't do videos just looking for an alternative to itunes = if there isn;t one i guess it'll have to be
winamp has plugins to do it there are like 5 other programs on ipodhacks.com but get itunes, ou do need to update your ipod every once in a while, just when it says "do you want this to be your primary player" click "no"
