Ipod Video wont mount

    Having trouble getting my new Ipod video to mount on my computer, used the select and play buttons to reset (this does not work) goes to apple logo then just restarts without resetting. Did work before but now nothing PLEASE HELP!!!!!

    Slip it into disk mode, it forces your iPod to mount on your PC

    To Put it in disk mode, reset the iPod and, when you see the Apple logo, press and hold Select and Play. A monochrome Disk Mode screen (not backlit) will appear.

    Thanks, used your method using G5 Mac, was lucky to have Drive genius software which erased the ipod then itunes refound it. Cheers for your advice.
