iPod Warranty or Not?

I'm planning on buying a white iPod Video and I want to know if it would be smart to get a warranty. If it's a good idea I'll get it from bestbuy because they offer a 3 year warranty for just $50!! I also would like if u can get the apple protection car a year late after u buy the iPod. I'm trying to sell my iPod Mini for $175 with 3 year warranty, everything included and car charger plus iSnug.

thanks for the help because I'll probably get the video soon and buy the warranty in about 6-8 months so I don't have to pay $350 at one time and I can just pay $300
