irx to srt?!! and other subtitle help!

    I tried subrip and it didn't work. I have no idea how to use vobsub.. help?

    Also I have this data disk with a movie in it. My friend, who gave it to me, says there are subtitles but when I play the movie on windows media player, it won't show up! Why?

    I'm using Avi2dvd to convert my avi to dvd (duh!), what subtitles does it support? Srt or sub?

    Maybe you mean idx? Won't work without a sub file to go with it and subrip can convert it to srt, I have done it myself before.
