Is it essential to have a dashboard installed onto your Xbox in order to FTP things from your computer to your xbox? The reason i'm asking this is because i have a modchipped Xbox, and i also have avalaunch on my computer, and want to FTP it over.
what modchip do you have installed and what bios are your currently running? if you have the x3 and 1959 bios...boot your box into configlive...there you will see your ip addy...you can then ftp into your xbox.
In the case of the xenium ice you can ftp w. out a different dashboard installed. this is how you can easily flash your bios and install evoX or whatever. Now you MUST have an alt. dash if you want to backup your games because the D drive will not show in the xeniums ftp.
