    i just fucked my xbox dvd rom [thompson] trying to adjust the laser to read cd-rw and cd-r ; now it can't recognize any disk [even original games].has anyone tried this before; and has it worked? what are the specs to use?

    I did the same thing...but I was lucky,I had another drive from a box that got busted at a friends house that I got for 5 bux. Sorry I can't help....but I feel your pain man.
