Is FreeiPods.com legitimate?

    Someone recently sent me a link to freeiPods.com, I signed up, but I don't know if it's legit...it seems too easy. The link I got when i signed up is

    (If you're gonna check it out, I'd love to get the credit :)

    Anyway, if you know of anyone that's actually gotten a free iPod through this, please let me know!

    Sure they give out free ipdos and don't make their money back somehow.

    A bunch of guys in my frat are trying this. One of their friends from back home got his ipod. The company that sponsors this, gratis internet, seems to have done similar things before. In either case, it couldnt hurt to try, right? I used the ancestry.com offer and just cancelled right afterwards. No charge to my cc cuz its a 14 day trial. Its worth a shot right? Just use an e-mail addy you dont care about.

    They'll be selling your name to everything and anyone for any purpose to pay for the iPod you got for not-so-free.

    It is legit, but MAKE SURE you use a "spam" email account, because you will be getting tons of spam after you sign up. And the easiest offer to do is Ancestry.com, because it has a free trial and can be cancelled very easily...

    I agree with Kevin, use a spam email; however, it is a legit deal. I went with the columbia deal and ended up keeping it. Check it out.
