    hi djfm

Once i got some small issues fixed,(roxio conflicted with nero) ive had no problems whatsoever, using dvd shrink,or dvd decrypter and nero. I got my burner for christmas and ive burnt over a hundred backups no coasters.
The guys in here are real helpful but you need to give them some more info.
What software you use what kinda burner your working with even os, and media.Id give you some links for guides, but you said you tried everything. We need to know what youve tried.
its not pot luck,it can be done ya gota believe it can be done :)ha ha

    good luck

(Damn there jim_dandy, you sure give us a high bar for us to leap over - lol:)

    djfm,

Decrypter and DVD2One are pretty good programs and DVD Shrink is an excellent program - BUT, you haven't given us your fryer - what's that ??

It's so hard to answer any question with only 1/2 the information - Please tell us how you make your discs ?

What do you use when works and, what do you use when it doesn't work ?

    Pete

    That's fine -

And to further answer your question, there may be something we need to "brain storm" maybe introduce another program but, that's why we're here - we get 98% of them, no problem - the other 2% - we work on -

I would never call it "POT LUCK", not when many of us backup 50, 75 or more without a hitch :D

You might want to get used to Shrink as with Nero loaded on your PC, DVD Shrink will burn automatically, saving you a whole lot on steps (about 3 or 4 mouse clicks with Shrink)

If you haven't spent your $$$ of DVD2One, it would be better spent on Nero (that also buys you Nero recode 2 which can be used with Decrypter for a totally different backup program) as Nero can be used to burn everything, Data, Pictures, Music etc. -

DVD2One is a nice program but limited - I have it and don't want to get rid of it but, on a limited budget, buy Nero -

If you have already purchased them both, Kool - Ya still want to get used to Shrink, you can do a lot more with it in the editing department -

If you want to join 2 or more episodes or movies, DVD2One. And there is no comparison when looking for a fast program, I know of nothing that's faster than DVD2One, hands down -

    Anyway, that's my opinion -
