OK,im im NYC and i currently have a traffic light and a stop sign that i want to put up on ebay but i dont know if it is exactly legal to do this , my guess is that it is but i not SURE, so just asking..
I realy realy doubt it as that is presumeably property of the state so therefore not yours to sell...I could be wrong as I'm in UK; I just have common sense. Do correct me if I am wrong...
First off, you CANNOT sell it as it is property of the state. If you tried, you would be charged with theft, and/or possesion of stolen goods. It doesnt make the state happy when you steal their signs/lights. (Even though I have a room where the walls are covered with signage from Chicago) ~Rich
k, thanx for the the 2 cent guys , i guess ill just fix it up and set it up i my room as i already have the stop sign hung up.
To be honest you would probably sell it on ebay cos someone will want it. I'd keep it if I were you but meh. Anyway I wouldn't cos you'll get arrested or sumat. LOL
well the stop sign , i was outside my house wit a whole bunch of friends that werent exactly sober and we started shaking a stop sign back and fourth , and we shook it s o much that the cement under it got cracked up and the pole just fell out, and i thought it would look cool in my house so i took it off the pole.but the traffic light , is a long story so to make a long story short i found it behind a school in an abandoned yard behind a church that looked like a junkyard
it is the property of the state, and if you get caught with it you can go to jail, it is theft it dose not matter if you found it or not do the right thing and turn it in, it would not be worth the hassell, yah it may look cool but would you think it would look cool, with your ass behind the jail cell bars? you never know you might get a reward for turning the stuff in, now that would be kool to good luck.
