/is it possbile .. to burn a dvd+r being originaly a cd-r...(ps2 game)

    hi.. i have 2 games of ps2 .. and they in the nero or dvddecrypter said that i need a CD-R to burn.. but here at home i only have DVD+r ... is it possible to burn it and still work?? because i burned it anyway and it didnt work... but it doesnt work...
