I have rigged a home audio 5.1 surround sound system to work on my computer. The thing is, I have it in one audio jack. I was wondering if I can take the +/- wire and somehow rig it to work as 1/8th audio in order to plug into my 5.1 surround sound card. Is this possible?

Your description of what you want to do isn't very clear.

Are you trying to output your PC to your 5.1 surround system?

What are you using as your output from the PC?

I've got a Realtek High Definition Audio sound card with six different color holes that I understand have 5.1 surround sound capabilities. I've got a normal 5.1 home theater surround sound system, and I was wondering if I could take the radio wire off of it and splice it to an 1/8 jack in order to plug them in each of the appropriate holes.

    Is this possible?

If not, is there any way to make it possible?
