If it does get axed then at least you can be a P2P nomad until they close the site of your most recent choice. BearShare (free version) is not bad if you can put up with adware.

I only say that because Limewire itself is not closing but in the next mounth it will ban all copyrighted songs, app's, Movies ect... from its program, it will only let you share non-copyrighted stuff. It won't last long after that Im sure, anyway whats the fun of that, right! but there is hope, if you go to http://Frostwire.com it is a new P2P program coming out that is based on its look and profile, check it out! The reason is ,every time (the last 2 months ) that I try to download something from there it was fake file with a virus for gift inside )) And all the files has the same length every time I search for something. P2P = Peer to Peer = Filesharing Yeah, it's filesharing. I'm glad I'm not the only one that's on top of things like Frostwire . It's a great new program, and it's Limewire's replacement. LW skins are fully compatible with Frostwire, but if you use the Limewire official skins on frostwire, it'll show Limewire's GFX, but you can edit that with a little know-how and craftywork.
lime wire is great with no adware,no computer frezze i will hate to see it go i wonder if frostwire will be the same great progam as limewire??????????????????????????????

I did my research and was about to purchase limewire when i read this page and hopes are now shattered! If i get frostwire will that give me all the limewire files? I want access to mp3's, video's and yes, occasionally even porn Please help! Is morpheus any good?
Limewire and Frostwire are on the same network. So, yes you can get the same files. morpheus is full of add on's and spyware,non if you get the PRO. Go for torrents if you really whant fast DL.
