is MAPing the drive the same as using flash xp ?

    Mapping drives through FTP is similar although a standard mapped drive uses a different protocol.

    FlashFXP is better IMHO, since it allows you to edit files on the fly without manually downloading and re-uploading as well as just giving you more control over what you're doing. Mapping is nice for the interface, but FlashFXP has far more features...
