turned my box on this morning and it seems to be hanging on the betaresearch logo on the front panel ??? I've connected a serial cable to it and all it displays is "debug: DDF: Calibrating delay loop... debug: DDF: 67.79 BogoMIPS" and just keeps repeating that line every 5 seconds. Has anyone got any ideas? it used to run Commando v6
sorry should have mentioned - already tried using IFA (all versions) all i get as serial output is that line as soon as box has power
any clues please anyone ?? the lcd just says "betaresearch" there's beer tokens in it if they can sort the box lol )
Hi Fekker, tried using x-over and also a straight though using switch but makes no difference as I dont seem to be able to get to any prompt to be ble to pause anything
If you start IFA, load your image & start the download then reboot the Dbox from the mains to start the flash. If this fails start IFA as before but instead of powering down & on again, reset the box by holding in the power & UP buttons on the front panel, or just the UP button to force a flash. Remember to close IFA before rebooting after a successful flash.
If the debug messages are visible a nullmodem cable is in use and if the message with Calibrating delay loop constantly repeat its likely the cpu is dead.
