Nothing wrong with a Celeron, it is good quality, just not as fast as a true Pentium 4. The main difference in a P4 Celeron and a P4 is the onboard cache. The Celeron only has 128m where a P4 has 512m I think off the top of my head. What that means is that instructions can be kept in the onboard cache on the CPU and accessed much faster than having it in the main memory and having to cross the bus from the memory chip to the processor. That makes a noticeable difference in speed even at the same mhz.
celeron has between 128k to 256k whereas the true p4 has between 512k to 1meg currently. also the celeron is about 1/2 the price of a true p4
