Is the Spidergx is a no-go on 1.6b?

I recently ordered a Xenium Ice for a friend who is moving out of state, soon. I had her order a Xenium SP I.C.E for her box, but as we all know, they have been on back order for forever. She ordered it back around Thanksgiving. Consolesource told her they would next day a SpiderGX in its place. I wasn't too happy, but I needed to get her going.

I installed the chip and got the LED verifications that tell me I did everything correctly (I have done plenty of mods on 1.6As, but this is my first Spider and my first 1.6B). I can boot the factory TSOP with my chip turned off, but when I turn the chip on, I get nothing but FRAG.

The half-assed guide they put on the SpiderGX site tells me to flip the second dip-switch to load a "special" compatability bios. This does nothing, either.

I have a drive allready formatted and programmed with emulators and apps and extra bios files, etc. I just can't get this piece of junk to load its OS.

Anyone have any info on the spider or the 1.6b?

Don't know if this helps, but I noticed when you boot the Xbox with the chip turned off (to check your LEDs and verify your connections), all of the LEDs on the adapter light up like they should. When you turn the chip on and boot the box, the D0 status LED turns off. Is THIS normal?
