I have music that I downloaded that I would like to use in my video editing project except it doesn't accept real player sound files. I don't think that any editing programs take this. So is there any way to change the real player file into a good quality mp3 or wav file?
download yourself dBPowerAMP converter. Its free, and you can get it here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm Now download the ra codec plugin, located here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-ra.htm The plugin will let you convert your real audio files into waves, or whatever file type you want. edited 4 typo
lol glad I could help. whats the point of having knowledge if you don't share it hope you project works
I would guess the reads one for decoding RA to another format, and writes to encode another format to RA
That is correct djscoop. If you don't want to have to pay for a "free Mp3" encoder, you may want to download v10 instead of v11 and update the [bold]LAME.dll[/bold] yourself. Link to dMC v10: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/127334 Ced
