is there a good software that can compress music

    i want to put music on my samsung d500 but i want the songs to be compressed.

    I am not knowledgeable about the spec's. of your phone,but I think you would want to use music in the mp3 format.Here is a program that can change most other formats to mp3.The lower that you set the Bitrate,the more compression you will have,but the lower the quality becomes.Play around with it to see what works for you.The program is free.After the trial date ,the program will still do all that you want it to.
