Hello, I have been using Bittornado for 2 years now.I don't get why my BTs only turning "yellow" now (no green light) on the statis light where as the witch leeds me to believe that the port range 6881-6889 is not working or that other clients don't use it anymore...is there a new port range in order to "get the Torrents Green.Please give me some feedback on this topic. P.S.//FYI: I know all my configuration is correct with my Router (Linxus) as well as my firewall (TrendMicro PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005)...mabe someone can help me out. THANX!!!
I use Bit Tornado and I know for sure those ranges don't work well or either just don't work. Go here: http://www.portforward.com/cports.htm Look for the torrent client you are using and see what ports are recommended. Open them and forward them to your router.
